Southwestern College Professional Studies has announced a special offer for Veterans Health Administration (VHA) nurses interested in the RN to BSN program.
Available for academic sessions beginning January 2019, the special offer includes exclusive tuition rates and a waived application fee for registered nurses employed by the VHA network and enrolled in the RN to BSN online degree program.
"We are excited about extending this offer to the VHA network,” said Dr. Abbey Elliott, Southwestern College Director of Nursing. “These rates provide students the ability to eliminate or significantly reduce out-of-pocket expenses when paired with the National Nursing Education Initiative (NNEI) scholarship program or tuition reimbursement.”
Enrollment for Spring 2019 sessions is now open. Admissions counselors are available to assist interested learners with general questions, develop individual degree completion plans that fit each student’s needs, or to assist with enrollment via phone, 888.684.5335, or email, firstname.lastname@example.org.

"Thank you so much for all of the information shared during the faculty meeting last night. I really enjoyed it and always come out of them "pumped up" and ready to get back in to the classroom. My next class doesn't start until April but I will be working on my class and making my zoom videos and meetings better and more productive. Southwestern truly is a "different" type of school."

"Shirley Baker was fantastic with explaining options and giving me multiple paths forward when I hit a road block. She was able to motivate me to keep pressing on when I would get burnt out without using overwhelming pressure that I HAD to take another class."

I loved my experience at Southwestern College. I probably would not have gone back and finished my bachelor's degree had it not been for the flexible program that was offered.
It was such an intense program, yet I was still able to fit in my classes with my family's schedule. As a matter of fact, my oldest son graduated from high school the same year I graduated from Southwestern, so that made it even more special.

"Dr. Pam Green has been very positive and supportive. She has provided wonderful recommendation letters any time I have asked. Her input during my tour of the Education program at Southwestern College was very helpful. When I went back to college to seek a second BA degree so I could obtain my teaching license, Dr. Green made me feel like I could be the educator that I had set my sights on becoming - even as a second career choice. She made me feel like a valued member of the education program. It has been seven years since I graduated from Southwestern College and I remain in contact with Dr. Green."
