Information Systems Management

Degree program focus

The information systems management degree focuses on the management of the use of information systems technology. If you choose this degree, you will learn the skills in information systems and security so as to provide solutions and support to organizations through effective management and use of information technology. You will explore hardware and software fundamentals. You’ll use programming language including SQL and VBA in order to manage data and information. And you’ll learn about project management, information systems security and database management systems as well!

Career potential

The ISM degree is a great degree for anyone interested in a career in IT or systems management roles. The degree will qualify you for a variety of tech career fields including cyber security, information technology, software engineering, information systems management, and more!

Computer Science

Degree program focus

The computer science degree focuses on the programming of information systems and learning the languages to do so. As a learner, you will develop the skills necessary to create solutions for organizations through applying programming techniques. In this program, you will learn to write programs for the World Wide Web using HTML, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You’ll learn to analyze, plan, develop, and implement business programming solutions in the Visual Basic and Java object-oriented programming environments. And you’ll work to design and program applications.

Career potential

This degree is a great choice if you are interested in web development and programming. Graduates of this program can explore careers as a web developer, database or network systems administrator and business intelligence analyst to name a few!
