Southwestern College Online Programs Recognized by U.S. News and World Report

Wichita, Kansas, January 15, 2019 – Southwestern College offers some of the best online degree programs in the country, according to U.S. News and World Report.

For the eighth year, U.S. News and World Report ranked online programs at accredited colleges across the country. It focused on factors including student engagement, faculty credentials and training, and student services and technology in its rankings.

Southwestern made the lists for Best Online Bachelor’s Programs, Best Online Graduate Education Program, Best Online MBA Program, Best Graduate Business Programs and Best Online Bachelor’s Programs for Veterans.

“We continue to focus on student engagement as a top priority,” says Mike Leamy, associate vice president of academic affairs for Southwestern College Professional Studies. “Both students and faculty report the value of regular and meaningful interactions. This is at the heart of our teaching and learning experience in all courses at Southwestern College.”

Established in 1885, Southwestern College began offering online undergraduate and graduate degree programs through its Professional Studies division in 2001. Military and civilian learners experience quality programs with flexible six-week online classes that make earning an education while balancing career and family possible from anywhere around the world. Enrollment for all spring sessions is currently open with the next session beginning February 18th.
