May 3, 2023 3:26pm

Congratulations! Whether you are wrapping up your last few classes or you’ve already completed all course requirements – your efforts and perseverance are worth celebrating! This checklist should help you ensure you complete the last few steps to earning that degree! If you’ve already started some of these tasks, great! You’re that much closer!

1. Submit your application for degree

Students who plan to graduate in December must complete a graduation application before November 1st, May graduates must submit it by April 1st, and August graduates must submit it by July 1st. This is required, even if you do not plan to attend the commencement ceremony in May. If you plan to attend commencement, please indicate this on the application for the degree. If you intend to receive your diploma by mail, please log into Self-Service to ensure that your address is up-to-date. A copy of the application is enclosed, or you can access the application online.

2. Pay any remaining balance

Your account must be paid in full and any payment plans completed before your diploma is released by the Registrar. For questions regarding your account or balance, please visit the Student Accounts webpage, or contact the Office of Student Accounts: 800-846-1543 ×6251 or E-mail: Accounts@sckans.edu.

To check your balance:

3. Complete Loan Exit Counseling
