WICHITA, Kansas – The new Center for Corporate Learning will offer a third Professional in Human Resource (PHR®) or Senior Professional in Human Resource (SPHR®) certification preparatory course in July.
The PHR®/SPHR® preparatory course will focus on the Bodies of Knowledge, the foundation of the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI™) exam. They include business and management strategy, workforce planning and employment, human resource development, compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations and risk management. The preparatory course benefits small business owners, managers with HR responsibilities and those wishing to increase their HR knowledge base.
“HRCI certification helps companies identify individuals who have expert knowledge of HR best practices as well as the strategic mindset, situational awareness and sound judgement required to adapt those best practices to their companies unique needs,” said HR Certification Institute CEO Amy Dufrane, Ed.D., SPHR, CAE.
Taught by local, experienced HR professionals, the course will consist of eight facilitated sessions, including orientation, where human resource professionals can prepare for their PHR®/SPHR® certification exams. Classes will be held from July 30th through November 5th on Saturdays at the Southwestern College Professional Studies campus in Wichita. The cost is just $950 per person and includes printed and online materials. Those interested in registering can visit the website.
The Center for Corporate Learning (CCL) was established to enhance business and industry partnerships. Along with the PHR®/SPHR® examination prep course, CCL offers quality customized training programs for organizations.
