WICHITA, Kansas – Southwestern College Professional Studies has extended its non-credit program offerings through its Center for Corporate Learning to include information technology examination preparatory courses.
Professionals looking to sit for certification exams in the I.T. field now have access to more than 100 preparatory course. These include preparation for exams from vendors such as Microsoft®, CompTia® and Cisco®. The prep courses are being offered self-paced online, virtually with a live instructor or on ground.
The Center for Corporate Learning is also looking to meet market demand and prepare ethical hackers through the offerings of cyber security specific certification preparation courses. Courses available for cyber security include preparation for (ISC)2 CISSP®, CompTIA® Network+, CompTIA® Security+ and EC Council Certified Ethical Hacker certification.
“As we researched the certification preparation market we realized the growing demand for cyber security professionals,” said Susan Backofen, Southwestern College vice president of enrollment. “We then made the decision to seek out courses that would prepare individuals to achieve those certifications and credentials.”
