Heather grew up in Michigan and is a veteran of the United States Air Force. She earned her B.S. in Business with an emphasis in Management from Wichita State University. She is currently working toward her MBA and expects to graduate in 2018. Heather spends most of her time assisting learners at the Professional Studies office at McConnell Air Force Base. When she’s away from the office, she enjoys time with her family, reading, traveling and volunteering.

Miranda Kober earned her B.S. in Human Resource Development from Southwestern College Professional Studies in 2013. She was hired as an admissions counselor in 2016 before transitioning into her role as the RN to BSN academic success coach. Miranda enjoys spending time with her family in the outdoors in her spare time.

Derek earned his B.A. in Management from Wichita State University in 2012. Derek managed a movie theater before beginning a career in higher education in 2014. In 2015, he began working as an admissions counselor at Professional Studies focusing on assisting Air Force learners around the world meet their educational goals. Derek was promoted to assistant director of admissions and student services in 2018. When he’s away from work, he enjoys working on home renovation projects.

Cecelia earned her B.A. in General Studies from Drury University and her M.S. in Environmental Management from Webster University. She has five years’ experience working with military learners. She began working for Southwestern College at the Ft. Riley office in 2017. When she’s not assisting learners, she enjoys exploring historical places with her daughter.

Trina began working as an admissions counselor at Professional Studies in May 2015. She earned her B.S. in Criminal Justice and her MBA with a concentration in contractual law in 2016. She is currently enrolled in the EdD program at Southwestern College. Trina enjoys volunteering, cooking and reading in her spare time.
