Wichita, Kansas - The Criminal Justice program at Southwestern College Professional Studies is one of the best in the country, according to SuperScholar.org.
In order to make the Smart Choice ranking, schools had to meet certain criteria to include flexibility, affordability and accessibility. Only regionally-accredited programs and universities listed in the National Center for Education Statistics database were considered.
"It is a great honor to be recognized as one of the top online bachelor's in Criminal Justice programs by SuperScholar.org,” said Lionel Santiago, Southwestern College Lead Affiliate Faculty of Criminal Justice & Security Management. “This recognition illustrates Southwestern College Professional Studies' commitment to providing our learners with the analytical and critical thinking skills to make an immediate impact in our communities in addition to fostering the ethical and communication skills critical for success in our dynamic criminal justice environment.”
The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice curriculum at Professional Studies, which includes content from the Naval Post Graduate Center for Homeland Defense and Security, offers crime and criminal behavior, policing, criminal investigation, criminal law and procedure, courts, corrections and administration and management of criminal justice organization courses. Graduates are prepared for careers in law enforcement, corrections or the court system.
“We believe all the top online Criminal Justice programs included in the ranking are a smart choice because they offer marketable, high-quality, accredited Criminal Justice degrees online and at a good value,” said the SuperScholar.org website.
Professional Studies also offers a Bachelor of Science in Security Administration. Both degrees include flexible six-week online courses, which allow learners to manage daily work and family life while they earn their degree.
Learners can enroll now in the next two sessions, which begin on February 16th and March 30th.
